一枚のステンレスの板を曲げ、ペントレーを製作しました。M字型のくぼみにペンを置きます。よく使うペンは上部に、使わないペンは下部に留まります。これはペンの利用頻度を視覚化するペントレーです。
「何を選択したか」ではなく「何を選択しなかったか」
YES or NOの二者択一を10回繰り返すとします。その先には1,024通りの未来があります。想像してみてください、選ばなかった1,023人の自分を。
蝶の羽ばたきが、やがて大きな風を生むような、そんな未来が、いつも選ばないペンを手に取ることで始まるかもしれません。そこには、いつもとは違う物語の入口があります。

This pen tray is made by bending a single sheet of stainless steel. Pens are stored in M-shaped indentations. By placing frequently used pens on the top shelf and less frequently used pens on the bottom shelf, you can visually track your pen usage.
What matters is not "what you chose," but "what you didn't choose."
Imagine making a YES or NO choice 10 times. That leaves 1,024 possible futures. Imagine the 1,023 versions of yourself that didn't choose one of those options.
Like a butterfly's flapping wings eventually creating a powerful wind, such a future might begin when you pick up a pen you wouldn't normally choose. There, you'll find the entrance to a story unlike any other.
